MV-CN
MV-CN gathers the Vintage Chrom Maverick CN cyano HPLC columns. Laboratories needing an orthogonal selectivity to alkyl phases, or a column that can switch between reversed-phase and normal-phase operation, use cyano columns for pharmaceuticals, pesticides and polar intermediates.
Ninety-four listings are available on 100 Å silica with cyanopropyl bonding, in 3 µm, 5 µm and 10 µm particle sizes and in 125 × 4 mm and 125 × 4.6 mm formats among others. The CN phase retains far less than C18 under reversed-phase conditions, making it useful for strongly hydrophobic compounds, while in normal-phase mode it offers a milder, more predictable alternative to bare silica.
Reach for a Maverick CN column when C18 selectivity is not enough or when polar analytes need a different retention mechanism. Choose 3 µm for the highest efficiency and 10 µm for pressure-limited systems. Lancetech Limited can quote any listed format.
