MNPK-C8 lists the Vintage Chrom Minipak C8 reversed-phase HPLC columns. Analysts who find a C18 column retains their compounds too strongly, or who need shorter run times for hydrophobic drugs and intermediates, often step across to this octyl phase.

All 68 listings share the Minipak 125 Å silica base, bonded with C8 and supplied in 5 µm and 10 µm particle sizes. Formats such as 125 × 4.6 mm and 125 × 3.9 mm are offered, matching both current and older HPLC method specifications. The shorter alkyl chain reduces hydrophobic retention relative to the sister Minipak C18 column while keeping the same silica and pore structure.
