KM-SI
KM-SI is the Vintage Chrom KSil Silica range of HPLC columns, a bare silica stationary phase for normal-phase separations. Analytical chemists in pharmaceutical, chemical and academic laboratories turn to these columns when reversed-phase methods cannot resolve polar or isomeric compounds.
The 54 listings cover 125 mm columns in 4 mm and 4.6 mm internal diameters, packed with 3.5 µm, 5 µm or 10 µm particles on 100 Å silica. The finer particles suit high-resolution analytical work, while the 10 µm packing gives lower back pressure for routine and semi-preparative separations in non-aqueous mobile phases.
Selecting a normal-phase silica column comes down to matching particle size to your pump pressure limit and the resolution the method demands.
