HPL-ODS

HPL-ODS HPLC columns are the Vintage Chrom HyperVin ODS family, an octadecylsilane reversed-phase packing listed under the ODS name that many compendial and legacy methods still use. Pharmaceutical QC and contract laboratories reproducing such methods are the typical users.

Fifty-four listings on 120 Å silica cover 125 × 4 mm and 125 × 4.6 mm columns in 3 µm, 5 µm and 10 µm particle sizes. Together with the ODS2 and Gold ODS sections, this gives three ODS variants in identical formats.

Use this standard ODS column as the first choice for a method that simply says ODS; consult the ODS2 section if the method names that variant explicitly. Particle size should follow your method, with 5 µm the common default. Quotations are available for any HPL-ODS configuration.
