Housing

A filter housing is the stainless steel vessel that holds cartridges or depth stacks in a process line, sealing them so fluid is forced through the filter media. Bioprocess, pharmaceutical utility and clean gas systems need a housing matched to the cartridge format in use.

The 68 GVS listings include single-round sanitary liquid filter housings for 5 inch cartridges, depth-stack housings in 316L for 12 inch elements with ASME-BPE DN25 connections, gas filter housings in 304 stainless for 30 inch 226/fin cartridges with DN50 flanges, and sanitary gas housings in 316L for 5 inch cartridges with silicone seals and electropolished finish.

Select by cartridge length and end adaptor first, then by material grade, connection standard and surface finish required by the process, and finally by whether the duty is liquid or gas. Cartridges and sterilising filters from the bioprocessing range fit these housings. Lancetech Limited can quote a housing with matching cartridges and spare seals.
