European Pharmacopoeia
European Pharmacopoeia reagents are buffer and test solutions prepared according to Ph. Eur. Chapter 4, the reagents section used across UK and EU pharmaceutical testing. QC analysts, method validation teams and contract laboratories use them to run compendial methods without preparing solutions in house.
With 276 Reagecon listings, this is the largest pharmacopoeial range on the site. It includes buffered solutions from EP Chapter 4 (4.1.3), such as Acetone Buffered Solution and pH 10.00 Ammonium Chloride Buffer, along with calibration buffers such as pH 1.68 at 25°C.
To choose correctly, quote the EP chapter and solution name from your method, and note the reference temperature where one is stated. Sister ranges cover Japanese, Chinese and United States Pharmacopoeia reagents as well as Dissolution Media. Lancetech Limited can quote any Ph. Eur. reagent not shown.
