Certified Reference Standards
Certified Reference Standards are the materials analytical laboratories use to calibrate instruments, validate methods and check results. This section gathers the reference standards used by pharmaceutical QC, environmental testing, food and water laboratories across the UK.
The range is led by European Pharmacopoeia (EP) reference standards and TOKU-E primary reference standards such as Actinomycin D in 5 mg, 10 mg and 25 mg packs. Alongside these sit Apera Instruments turbidity standard sets (20, 100, 400 and 800 NTU) for TN400 and TN480 meters, with further sections for pH buffers, conductivity and redox standards, AAS and ICP standards, titration and volumetric solutions, and TOC and TIC standards.
When choosing a reference standard, start from the method: a pharmacopoeia monograph calls for the matching EP standard, while instrument calibration needs a standard matched to the parameter, concentration range and sample matrix. If the exact material is not listed, Lancetech Limited can quote it on request.
