C30 HPLC columns carry a long triacontyl chain that gives strong shape selectivity for carotenoids, vitamins, lipids and other hydrophobic isomers. Food, nutraceutical and natural-product laboratories use C30 columns where C18 cannot separate structurally similar cis and trans forms.
The section comprises 188 Vintage Chrom Bond C30 listings. Sample products show 125 × 4 mm columns with 3 µm and 5 µm particles, with 100 Å and 120 Å pore sizes available for each particle size.
Because long-chain phases respond noticeably to temperature, column thermostatting is worth planning when you transfer or develop a method. Pick 3 µm for isomer pairs that need maximum resolution and 5 µm for routine profiling. The team is happy to quote any C30 column or discuss a separation.
