Petrochemical Smoke Point Standards
Petrochemical Smoke Point Standards are reference blends for calibrating the smoke point apparatus used to test kerosene and aviation turbine fuel. Fuel laboratories and inspection bodies running ASTM D1322 use them to confirm the instrument is reading correctly.
One Reagecon product is currently listed: the Smoke Point Kit for ASTM D1322, containing standard smoke point blends referenced to 101.3 kPa. A kit of blends at known smoke point values allows the apparatus to be checked across its working range rather than at a single point, which gives more confidence in results on routine samples.
Order the kit when setting up a new smoke point lamp, after maintenance, or whenever results drift from expected values. Other fuel-related standards in this part of the range include Petrochemical Vapour Standards and Petrochemical Cetane Improver Standards. If you need an individual blend rather than the full kit, Lancetech Limited can quote on request.
