ICP Multi Element ICH Q3D Standards
ICP Multi Element ICH Q3D Standards combine commonly controlled elemental impurities into a single calibration solution, independent of the route of administration. Pharmaceutical laboratories screening raw materials, excipients and finished products by ICP-OES or ICP-MS use them as an efficient starting point.
Two Reagecon standards are listed, both containing 10 elements: one in 5-10% nitric acid, and one in 5% nitric acid with 1% hydrofluoric acid for methods where hydrofluoric acid is part of the digestion.
Use the nitric acid version for standard digestions and the hydrofluoric acid version when your sample preparation includes HF, so that standards and samples share the same matrix. For route-specific calibration by class, see the ICH Q3D oral, parenteral and inhalation sections alongside. Lancetech Limited can quote both ICH Q3D standards on request.
