Cell G Cell and Tissue Culture Flasks

Cell G Cell and Tissue Culture Flasks are large-format, surface-treated flasks for scaling up adherent cell culture. Bioprocess development and cell biology laboratories move to them when a standard 75 cm² flask no longer gives enough cells per passage.

Two GVS flasks are listed, both 600 mL extended flasks with Cell G treatment, sterile and supplied five per bag with 40 per case. The difference between them is the closure: one has a plug seal cap, the other a vent cap.

Choose the vent cap for culture in a CO2 incubator where gas exchange through the cap is wanted, and the plug seal cap where the flask will be moved, stored or kept sealed. Smaller Cell G flasks in 25 mL and 50 mL sizes are listed separately under Cell G Flasks, along with Cell G dishes and plates for the same surface treatment in other formats.
