Blender Bags

Blender Bags are the sample bags used in paddle blenders to homogenise food, feed and environmental samples before microbiological testing. Food safety, veterinary and environmental laboratories get through them in volume during routine sample preparation.

Seventeen GVS bags are listed. The listings shown are 300 × 180 mm bags with a 400 mL working volume in non-filter format, available in PE70, PE100 and PE120 versions and supplied in cases of 500 made up of inner packs of 50 or 100.

Choose the version by the sample type and how hard it will be blended; tougher samples with sharp fragments call for a heavier bag. Non-filter bags suit samples where the whole homogenate is used, and where a filtered portion is needed the homogenisation bags listed separately in the Labware section are the ones to look at.
