Vent Filter

A vent filter protects bioprocessing vessels, carboys and bioreactor lines by letting air pass while holding back particles and microorganisms. Fermentation and cell culture laboratories fit a vent filter wherever a container must breathe without contaminating its contents.

The nine GVS vent filters in this section are the ST Dia65 series, a 65 mm capsule with a PTFE membrane in 0.22 µm or 0.45 µm ratings. Each carries a stepped 6 to 12 mm hose barb and comes either sterile in packs of ten or bulk in packs of one hundred.

Pick 0.22 µm where sterile venting is required and 0.45 µm for general particulate protection, then choose sterile packs for single-use or aseptic work and bulk packs where filters are prepared in house. Lancetech Limited can quote these GVS Dia65 vent filters and related bioprocessing filtration.
